Welcome to The Quay School of Theatre Dance
The Quay School of Theatre Dance is a warm and friendly school with over 300 pupils who attend classes in Ballet, Tap and Modern/Jazz. Weekly classes are held at The Jetty, Quay Lane, Sudbury; The Old School, Long Melford and Ixworth Village Hall, Ixworth, nr.Bury St Edmunds.

The school offers pupils the chance to take exams, attend annual summer schools and appear in shows; as well as taking part in well-structured but fun classes. Dance lessons help to improve and develop a number of skills and qualities including self-confidence, co-ordination, rhythm, self-discipline and social skills.
The Quay School of Theatre Dance holds lessons six days a week so there should be a class to meet everyone’s needs whatever their age or ability. All teachers are qualified and we follow The Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (I.S.T.D.) syllabi.
